[ST. PETERSBURG] – A Florida Man was arrested after giving a cop the finger and telling him his name was “Ben Dover”.
The incident occurred back in November when a deputy sought to remove the Florida Man who was in a park in St. Pete after hours.
After being asked to identify himself, the Florida Man “responded by stating his name was ‘Ben Dover”.
“Dover”, who is actually 22-year-old Andrew Leighton, gave the deputy the finger, and then got in his face “as if he was going to hit him.”, according to the officer. Leighton then took off before being apprehended shortly after.
He was ordered to pay $500 in court and prosecution fees after entering a no contest plea on charges of obstruction and resisting an officer. Original Article
