[KEY WEST] – A Florida Man who just purchased a multi-million dollar private island off Key West was arrested for shoplifting at a local Kmart.
59-year old Andrew Lippi allegedly stole nearly $300 of household goods, including LED bulbs and a $150 Keurig coffee machine. According to police, he placed cheaper items inside the boxes, such as a basketball inside the Keurig box, then returned them for a refund.
Lippi says he paid to much for the items and told the Miami Herald that the situation “has to do with a commercial dispute.”
Lippi was arrested on grand theft charges. He was released the following day. Original Article
