[WAUSAU] – A Florida Man was jailed after stealing some snacks from a convenience store, chatting up an ATM machine, then charging a deputy.
35-year-old Phillip Hardrick went to a Tom Thumb in Wausau on Tuesday, where he reportedly swiped a Snickers bar and drink.
After stealing his snacks, the Florida Man began having some sort of conversation with the ATM inside the store, according to the release.
When deputies arrived, “Hardrick turned and charged at one of the deputies but was quickly detained.” Inside his wallet was a rolled dollar bill, which contained methamphetamine,” the release states.
In addition to the drug charge, Hardrick also had an active warrant for a parole violation.
