Florida Man needed some new meds, but Florida Man doesn’t like to pay for them. Instead, he decided to rob a string of CVS stores off “All Bottles” of Viagra and other medications. On October 20th 23-year old Thomas Mues, from Jacksonville, was arrested for robbing a CVS in Orlando. But that wasn’t the first CVS he robbed.
This Florida Man story actually starts the day before his arrest. According to a X (formerly Twitter) post by Volusia County Sheriff, a suspect was wanted for armed robbery of a CVS in Deltona. The Sheriff’s Office posted pictures caught on security cameras, asking the community for help to identify him.
Please help us ID this suspect wanted in a recent armed robbery at a CVS in Deltona. He's described as a black male, 5'4-5'8 inches tall and has distinctive tattoos on his face: a cross between his eyes and tattoos on both cheek bones. But Florida Man always likes to take it up a notch, so he didn’t stop there. According to a different X Post by Orlando Police, the suspect was arrested for a separate robbery that took place in their city. The Orlando Police wrote that Mues handed employees a hand-written note with instructions to give him “All Bottles” of medications including Viagra, Adderall, Xanax, Oxy and others. The note stated if the instructions weren’t followed he’d “shoot the closest person to me!”
When police arrived at the scene Mues fled the store. After a short foot chase the Florida Man was arrested. They found the bag of pills and note still on him, which they shared pictures of on the X post. At this point Mues confessed to the other robbery the day before. According to police no weapon was found on him.
The suspect armed with this note detailing a long list of very specific demands was quickly arrested by Orlando Police. On October 20th, 2023 at about 6 p.m., officers responded to a CVS in the 4300 block of Curry Ford Road for a commercial robbery. pic.twitter.com/TIVET71Imv

Mues was transported to the Orange County jail and charged with trafficking in several different drugs. No bond was allowed at the time.
